Hi! I'm Asha, pronounced AY-sha, and my name means Hope….so I HOPE you follow my blog 😎
In college, I majored in political science and minored in business law AND still graduated in that major so I feel like that means I know how form sentences really well and have people go "okay she kinda knows what she's talking about".
After realizing I no longer wanted to be a lawyer, I'm now pursuing a career in digital marketing. I started this blog to not only share my love for reading but also manage other social media accounts as experience.
During college, like many others, I didn't spend much of my time reading for fun because if I had free time I was probably giving my brain a massage by watching shows like Parks and Rec, Bob's Burgers, and animes like My Hero Academia. I probably would've leveled up my vocabulary if I spent that time reading, but it was harder to find the desire to read when I already had to read for any and every homework assignment.
I was born and raised in Florida, more specifically North Florida because Florida is too large to just say the state in general. I love eating different Asian cuisines……no actually I love eating all of it, I love eating all types of Asian cuisines. I also just love eating. I'm vegan now and have been for 2 years. So I like to find new ways to eat the food that I've loved. Getting boba with my friends is a MUST and I love sitting in the cafes with them screaming about how the rules they're using for UNO is wrong.
I'm a moviegoer. I love watching them, owning them, and researching all the behind the scenes. My parents hate when I spill all the special effects details when the credits start rolling. My favorite movies are basically all the Studio Ghibli movies, a couple of Marvel movies, Bridesmaids, The Heat (yes I love female-led comedies, sue me), and anything Lupita Nyong'o so much as SWEATS on (SHE DESERVED THAT OSCAR FOR US), and others that I can't remember because I don't make lists and expect myself to remember everything (which I should probably stop doing).
